Q1 2022: LinkedIn Company Insights

For my second newsletter for Q1 2022, I’ll be doing my third iteration of the LinkedIn Company Insights (Q3 21 Q4 21). I have two portfolio companies reporting this week (Atlassian and ServiceNow) so I thought it would be a good idea to release this edition a week early.
This data all comes from LinkedIn Sales Navigator (paywall that I get for work), and I’ve made sure I could technically share this information per their user policy. I don’t think this is the typical way most people use their LinkedIn Premium service as it’s mostly for recruiters, marketers or salespeople finding new leads.
In total, I go over 116 total companies including subsidiaries, which I think is the best part for a service like this as I’m able to analyze how Cash App, Sea Money, Mailchimp, Auth0 are all doing in their own right and see their hiring trends. I’ll be providing four screenshots for each company which include:

I’m going to summarize my findings at the top since this is an extremely long newsletter and I’m sure you’ll just want to skip around to companies in your portfolio that I’ve included.
How I look at this kind of data is there aren’t any true “red flags” that can be taken to heart, and shouldn’t be judged as a standalone data point. These types are insights are more leading indicators and can also be a great way to confirm and deny narratives surrounding a company.
